Every commercial construction project comes with unique challenges and The Fairfield Inn & Suites project in Sheboygan, WI was no different. Northcentral Construction takes pride in overcoming these challenges, adding the bar to the design half way thru construction, and still delivering the project 3 weeks early while meeting the objectives and vision of the developer.

This construction modeled the Marriot’s Modern Calm building style.

This development included:

• Breakfast area
• Fitness center
• Swimming pool
• Bar that included an outdoor patio and fireplace

AWARD WINNING Rehabilitation One very crucial part of this project was that the hotel had to remain open for business and operational during the construction. Unique challenges included the hotel is located between the Harbor on one side and a main road through downtown Port Washington on the other side.  During Construction we had to keep pedestrian traffic flowing and safe along the sidewalk which touched the building landscape and the Harbor Boardwalk which also touched the building landscape.  The proximity to the harbor required the implementation of strict safety guidelines to avoid material or personnel from ending up in the water.
