The Corridor

Project Overview

Revitalizing a Key Corridor in Downtown Oshkosh

The Corridor Apartments transformed a long-vacant infill site into a vibrant mixed-use housing development that connects downtown Oshkosh to the surrounding residential neighborhood. Located along Main Street and Jefferson Street, the project replaced properties that had been acquired and cleared by the City of Oshkosh over the course of more than a decade, creating new opportunities for housing, childcare, and neighborhood revitalization.

Prior to construction, existing overhead utility lines ran directly through the center of the site and required significant relocation efforts completed by the utility companies. Soil remediation work was also undertaken as part of the redevelopment process, preparing the former city-owned property for its next chapter.

Completed in 2026 following a 14-month construction schedule, the development consists of three buildings totaling 55 residential units. Two buildings feature eight-unit stacked flats, while the centerpiece of the project is a mixed-use building offering 39 apartments and a community daycare center on a portion of the first floor.

Northcentral Construction was proud to serve as the Construction Management Team on this project and contribute to the continued growth and revitalization of Oshkosh’s downtown district.
