Cousins Wausau, WI

Northcentral Construction recently completed the exterior shell and interior build of Cousins in Wausau, Wisconsin. Located at 225 S.18th Avenue in Wausau, this newly constructed 2,193 square foot building showcases a new and unique branding style for Cousins.

The modern design of this Cousins location includes a distinctive “clerestory” concept. By showcasing exposed trusses, the design incorporates natural sunlight and enhances the building’s character. The facade is a striking combination of brick, tile, and EFIS, presenting a contemporary and visually appealing look.

As a fast casual dining establishment, Cousins Wausau offers a unique culinary experience for its visitors. This concept provides a balance between the convenience and speed of fast food and the quality and experience of a casual dining restaurant. The interior design of Cousins Wausau reflects this concept with a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages patrons to relax and enjoy their meals. The layout of the space has been thoughtfully designed to ensure efficient flow and a comfortable dining experience for customers.

During the construction, the city of Wausau was simultaneously undergoing a road reconstruction project. The Northcentral Construction team collaborated with the city to seamlessly incorporate the new building into the ongoing infrastructure changes.

Northcentral Construction would like to thank the developers of the restaurant shell, EVO Development, Inc., and Cousins Corporate for their collaboration on the interior design. While Northcentral Construction has completed several interior renovations for Cousins, this project marks the first ground-up new construction exterior and interior project for the brand.
