Skilled Carpenter

Join the Northcentral Construction team as a Skilled Carpenter! Our carpenters work with a variety of materials including wood, structural steel, light gauge steel, plastics, and composite. Our ideal candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, estimate materials, and coordinate and schedule work with other trades. You should be comfortable working with basic carpenter tools, optical equipment, lasers, mechanical tools, rigging, and welding.

As a carpenter, you will be responsible for rough framing, exterior and interior finishing, installation of hardware, drywall, insulation, and other interior systems. You will ensure compliance with building codes and established work practices. You should be able to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, kneeling, and squatting.
>We require a high school diploma/GED equivalent, a class D driver’s license, and reliable transportation. You should be able to write routine reports and simple correspondence. If you have one year of previous experience, that’s a plus.
