The Apex is Coming to Downtown Slinger
For years, this stretch of downtown Slinger, Wisconsin, was home to small apartments and local businesses. Some of those buildings were later demolished, while others were converted to residential use. As the site became underused, it left an opportunity to think about what this part of downtown could be again.
The Apex is the next part of that story. It will bring new rental homes and commercial space to the heart of Slinger, with the quality and amenities people want and a local team close by. For someone who grew up here and hopes to come back, a longtime resident ready for a change, or someone looking to put down roots, it offers another way to call Slinger home.
The Project Team Behind The Apex
Elev/8 Properties and Northcentral Construction have worked together before in Slinger, on the Seventh Hill Estates multi-family community. For The Apex, Elev/8 is again partnering with Northcentral Construction as the project’s general contractor to bring new housing to an area they both know well.
The goal is to give people more ways to stay in Slinger or come back to it. The Apex puts residents within walking distance of downtown restaurants, shops, and gathering places, while keeping everyday travel convenient.
Inside, the luxury apartments will feature quartz countertops, soft-close cabinetry, tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, in-unit laundry, and balconies. Residents will also have access to a fitness center, gathering room with kitchenette, game room, dog wash, secure smart access, and a local management team. Underground parking will also be available.

A Piece of Downtown Slinger's History
This stretch of downtown Slinger has been home to small apartments and local businesses over the years, including Risse Meat Market, Phillips Funeral Home, and Joe Mechenich’s barbershop. Some of the buildings were later demolished; others were converted into apartments.
The site’s history will have a place in The Apex, too. One of the building’s first commercial tenants has ties to the barbershop that once stood here. It’s a small connection, but a special one for a downtown site with so many stories of its own.
