Bank First – Door County

Project Overview

Bank First in Sturgeon Bay brings together craftsmanship, community, and the character of Door County. Built by Northcentral Construction, this project was designed to honor the area’s unique charm while delivering a modern and welcoming space for customers. The site preparation required the removal of an existing home and excavation through solid bedrock, followed by construction during a long and harsh Wisconsin winter. Even with the tough conditions, the Northcentral team kept the project on schedule and delivered a space that fits perfectly into one of the state’s most visited destinations.

Every choice made on this project was intentional. The exterior features Fond du Lac Dimensional Clean Split Natural Stone from FDL Natural Stone, tying the building to Wisconsin’s landscape. Inside, the design incorporates locally sourced artwork and warm, inviting finishes that reflect Door County’s artistic spirit. Native landscaping completes the site, connecting the building to its surroundings and reflecting the natural beauty of Door County.

The completed Bank First branch now stands as a welcoming space for both residents and visitors in Sturgeon Bay. From start to finish, the project reflects the dedication and skill of Northcentral Construction and the local partners who helped bring it to life.
