Northcentral Construction is a Fond du lac, WI based full service General Contractor that puts our clients, employees, and subcontractors’ success at the heart of our brand.  Projects vary in scale from $100K – $25 million.    Our areas of expertise are Multi-Family Apartments, Senior Living Complexes, Hospitality and Commercial.  As a Site Manager for Northcentral Construction, you will be part of a team that focuses on building exceptional projects safely while maximizing our customers satisfaction.

What we expect from you

  • Our Site Managers are vital to maintaining jobsite safety
    • Enforce company safety policies
    • Ensure that prevention and corrective measures are implemented
    • Document incident reports as necessary
    • Write and submit weekly safety reports
  • Initiate and maintain communications with subcontractors to expedite project
  • Work with Project Manager to plan, organize and direct activities to maximize project efficiency
  • Provide direction to on-site subcontract crews to ensure project is completed to specification
  • Represent the company at all onsite meetings
  • Facilitate and document progress meetings
    • Send out meeting minutes within 3 days
  • Trouble shoot and Resolve problems involving coordination and productivity.
  • Interpret plans and contracted requirements to subcontractors onsite
  • Write and submit daily job reports
  • Review shop drawings for compliance to the plans and specifications
  • Prepare purchase orders for all materials required to complete job
  • Work with Operations Manager to schedule internal workers and field equipment to site
  • Procure miscellaneous materials as required to facilitate progress
  • Proactively monitor the progress of projects and continuously update schedules to achieve finish dates
  • Ensure project punch lists are completed to customers / architects’ satisfaction

  • A minimum of 5 years construction experience or equivalent
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks daily
  • Excellent time manager with superb follow-up skills
