Concrete Worker

Northcentral Construction is seeking a Concrete Worker to join our exceptional team. As a Concrete Worker, your key responsibilities will include setting up forms for footings, walls, slabs, and site concrete and place and finish concrete, including applying color hardeners and release agents when installing stamped concrete.

The job functions of a Concrete Worker include being able to identify different types and sizes of lumber, using hand tools and power saws safely and efficiently, setting up various forms for concrete quickly and correctly, accurately grading materials, tying rebar properly, and finishing concrete to a sufficient quality. Concrete Workers will also operate equipment such as skid loaders and forklifts. Reading blueprints and setting heights accurately through transit is crucial, as is the ability to supervise others while completing assigned tasks. Concrete workers must be proficient in mathematical calculations and communication skills to successfully perform their job.

This position requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent. In addition, applicants must have a current and valid driver’s license, as well as reliable transportation. The minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old. While previous experience in concrete work is helpful, it is not required. Having a commercial driver’s license would be a plus but is not mandatory.
