Projects vary in scale from $100K – $25 million. Our areas of expertise are Multi-Family Apartments, Senior Living Complexes, Hospitality and Commercial. - When traveling and staying out of town lodging is paid by the company and a daily per diem is paid.
What we expect from you
- Initiate and maintain communications with owners and subcontractors to facilitate project
- Lead and/or assist with estimating of projects
- Provide direction to on-site management to ensure project is completed to specification
- Represent company in project specific and strategy meetings
- Procure and vet subcontractor bids during the bid process
- Assemble complete bid package to review with management prior to submitting
- Interpret plans and contract terms to clients and project team
- Work with Site Manager to plan, organize and direct activities to maximize project efficiency
- Ensure the company safety plan is in place prior to starting and being implemented by field staff during construction
- Work with Operations Manager to assign and schedule internal workers and field equipment to specific sites
- Submit project change orders to clients in a timely manner
- Work with accounting and contract administrator to manage the financial/contract aspects of the projects
- Review and approve all invoicing, monthly draws, and associated paperwork
- Represent the company at monthly draw meetings
- Ensure project budgets are accurate and Up To Date
- Proactively monitor the progress of projects and continuously update schedules to achieve finish dates
- Ensure project punch lists are completed to customers / architects’ satisfaction
To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following:
- A minimum of 5 years construction management experience or equivalent
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks daily
- Excellent time manager with superb follow-up skills
- Possess the desire to part of a growing construction company
